Maple Sweater is a classic sweater worked in a rib pattern with cables. The sweater is worked from the top down, where short rows are used to shape the shoulder. The rib edges are worked in twisted rib.

Sizes:
XS (S) M (L) XL

Bust circumference:
100 (109) 109 (118) 127 cm or 39.5 [43] 43 [46.5] 50 inches (measured just below the armholes).

Size guide:
Maple Sweater is designed to have approx. 15-19 cm [6-7.5 inches] of positive ease.
The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 cm (85-90 cm) 90-95 cm (95-100 cm) 100-110 cm or 31.5-33.5 inches [33.5-35.5 inches] 35.5-37.5 inches [37.5-39.5 inches] 39.5-43.25 inches.
Measure yourself with a measuring tape around your bust or your widest upper body point to determine which size will fit you. (Keep in mind that these measurements will only be achieved if you are using the correct gauge).

Recommended needles:
Circular needle 5 mm [US 8] (40 cm and 80 cm or 100 cm) [16 and 32 or 40 inches]
Circular needle 4,5 mm [US 7] (40 cm and 80 cm or 100 cm) [16 and 32 or 40 inches]

Gauge:
22 stitches x 32 rows in pattern on needle 5 mm [US 8] = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]
Note that rib stitch expands when washed, so your swatch should be washed and blocked.

Materials:
The sweater is worked using one thread of Arwetta held together with one thread of Alpakka Følgetråd.

150 (150) 150 (150) 200 g of Alpakka Følgetråd by Sandnes Garn (50 g = 400 m) [437 yards].
